Biography
Mr. Nirmalendu Bandyopadhyay is a Freelance Consulting Engineer providing design (FEED) and PMC services to various international companies in oil, gas, power, hydrocarbon processing and other industrial plant EPC projects with over 48 years of experience in Handling Multidisciplinary projects.He has been working with organisation like international Organizations like ABB Lummus Global Engineering, Gas Services International Pte Ltd , Iran Power Plant Projects Management Co Ltd , during the last 48 years in India, Africa , Middle East Gulf and Asia Pacific Countries. His expertise include handling of major EPCM projects related to onshore and offshore field development , thermal recovery of heavy crude oil / oil sands by In situ thermal combustion/SAGD and CSS technologies. He has worked on mega floating production systems like FPSO, FSO,FLNG , MODU , cross country pipelines with pump and compressor stations , SCADA systems for controlling product movement through long distance pipelines , crude oil refinery and gas processing plants (LNG,GTL,CTL,CNG etc) , thermal power plants (GT,ST,CCPP), mining and mineral processing plants, integrated iron & steel plants from FEED stage to project delivery involving multidisciplinary Engineering functions in multicultural environment.

His research areas have been related to oil & gas , all types of power , integrated iron & steel , mining and mineral processing plants, municipal utilities and various infrastructure facilities in India and other countries across the continents.
