Biography
Dr. RUIZ has completed the PhD at the age of 47 years from Universidad Tecnica Jose Antonio Echeverria in Havana, Cuba; and postdoctoral studies from Dresden University in Germany and Universidad de Alcala de Henares in Spain. She is architect, Master in Construction Sciences, Doctor in Technical Sciences and General Director of Research at Universidad Internacional del Ecuador. She has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

Her research field comprise of Environmental Impact, Tourist Facilities, Coastal Ecosystems, Building Technology and Construction.
